The Atlantic City Grid Military instillation is one of the last remaining Naval Bases along ACG. The waters around it are restricted and ther restriction zone spans one mile out from its shores. The island itself is an impressive piece of land, spanning most of the shoreline of New Babylon and acting as a perfect buffer for the Megacity from its ocean side.
This secrecy makes it intimidating to the population that aren't more in the know of military workings in the current time. Those in the know are even more intimidated. The advances in technology that are being militarily driven are dizzying at best, some speculate that its only a matter of time before those behemoth sized war ships leave the waters and take flight through the skies.
As it stands, there is no military force on the planet that can match the ACG. The old American adage still stands.... Walk softly....
